I am trying to find out if a metal detector is capable of finding a stainless steel wall tie embedded in a vertical brick wall without also finding any nails or screws in the stud wall behind the brick veneer wall ?
I am investigating a large house and believe, from cutting open holes in walls that 1 or 2 rows of wall ties have been missed and I would like to prove it without tearing down any more walls !
